FROM SELF PORTRAIT TO SELFIE. NEED TO BE SEEN.

Join us for a lively discussion entitled, “From self portrait to selfie. Need to be seen.” on Thursday, July 10, at 6pm at Engine, 265 Main Street in downtown Biddeford. The panel will include SELF/selfie exhibition curator Donna McNeil, social media guru Rob Gould of Social Social, MECA ‘14 graduate and creator of #ProjectSelfiePride Sabrina Volante, writer of BlackGirlinMaine Shay Stewart-Bouley, Curator of Contemporary and Modern Art at the Portland Museum of Art Jessica May and Julie Longua Peterson, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at University of New England. The panel will be moderated by Joshua Bodwell, co-founder of Engine and director of the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance.
