INTERNSHIPS

Thank you for your interest in interning at Engine. Our internships are unpaid, as we are a small not-for-profit organization. We do not have any credit agreements with schools but are willing to provide the necessary paperwork for interns to earn credit.

SCHEDULE: Flexible, beginning immediately, but within our normal operating hours which might include some Saturdays.
TRANSPORTATION: Must have own transportation or be able to use public transportation.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP

The goal of the graphic design internship program (DESIGN4GOOD) is to provide opportunities for aspiring graphic designers to get hands-on training by completing real-world projects within a non-profit arts organization’s design incubator program. The internship program allows participants to assume professional-level responsibilities, receive training and guidance from design/arts administration professionals while assisting non-profit organizations in communicating their mission. We view the program as an extension of our education and outreach services that help to expand and diversify community interaction. Interns should be interested in working in a non-profit arts environment, possess strong communication skills, and have computer skills.
