Engine’s Maritime Makers Camp invites curious, aspiring young artists, designers, engineers, and scientists ages 7-11 to think, explore, and create outside the box. Our maker education emphasizes the act of hands-on experimentation; thinking, tinkering, learning how and why things work through a series of fun and creative projects that promote innovation and creativity. Engine’s S.T.E.A.M. initiative combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math into one balanced week of activities to inspire a well-rounded maker.

This February Vacation program will focus around the theme of Maritime Maine, and will include projects in woodworking, 3d printing and fabrication, engineering challenges, stop-motion animation, and painting.

Camp activities will alternate between Engine, located at 128 Main Street, and the Compass Project boatbuilding shop which is housed in Biddeford High School, located at 20 Maplewood Ave.
