4 Sessions: May 8-May 29

Cost: Engine offers Pay-What-You-Can for all students, also known as sliding-scale, with families assessing their own need and paying what they can afford. The suggested range for this class is $15-115.

Only you know what works for your budget. For your reference, suggested fee categories cover:
•$15 = cost of materials
•$70 = materials & instructor time
•$95 = actual per-person cost
•$115= actual cost of class + $20 contribution to Engine’s education scholarship fund**
**These contributions offset program fees and allow us to sustain sliding-scale pricing.

Description: Students will breath life into characters and stories through both digital and hand illustration and animation techniques. Topics include stop-motion animation, flash animation and drawing with a tablet, character design and story development, and more!

Instructor Bio: Matt Tanzi is a practicing animator, illustrator, and educator working from Portland, Maine.
