MAKERS MARKET

Handmade for the holidays

Friday December 3 from 5-9PM
Saturday December 4 from 12-4PM

We are thrilled to host local vendors in our makerspace selling handmade goods for the holidays this year. In addition to sharing with you our evolving makerspace we are exicted to reopen to the public in 2022, we are celebrating the season as part of the Heart of Biddeford’s Holiday Downtown Festival!

Our studios will also be open with Liz Felt (mixed media), Susan Reardon of Beehive Design (glass beads), and our makerspace will be hosting AVG Pottery, Rebecca Cote, Kyle Binnette, Sarah Korman and Tyler Varlese, Project Emmersive, and Ashley Zipp. We also have wood turning demonstrations by Engine Makerspace volunteer makers Jim & Jack Santerre and Denis on sale to support Engine!

Also be sure to stop by our friends at Common Roots, Nibblesford, and Trillium for more local handmade goods and delicious treats! Trillium is also hosting demonstrations by local artist Rebekah Evans from 5-7PM.

What people are saying about Engine...

Partnering with UNE, Engine has offered professional level gallery and classroom experiences for undergraduate and local students enrolled in arts classes as well as a venue to see art by both regionally and nationally recognized artists.
Stephen Burt

Engine is and has been a focal point of downtown Biddeford for many years for so many artists and creative spirits. It is a go-to for me: a retreat, a destination, a source for connection and ideas and community.
Laura Dunn
Artist
Engine is a wonderful place to work surrounded by wonderful people who have infused so much love and light into the downtown of Biddeford. I cannot imagine a bright future in the town without this wonderful organization.
Savanna Pettengill

Engine fuels the creativity of our city, making it the hub for youth and adults alike to feed their spirits, expand their skills, and create a better future for all of us.
