2022 Fringe Fest Lineup Fueled by IGNITE

Y’all,

I’m thrilled to share our 2022 Fringe Fest Lineup for Friday August 19, 5-9PM!

This year is a special one for Fringe as some of our IGNITE Arts Business Incubator cohort members are launching their projects and sharing new work with our community! So, Fringe is now fueled by IGNITE (all of it powered by Engine!).

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural IGNITE Arts Business Incubator Cohort: GEM City, Oterra Designs, Biddeford Community Gardens, Maine Music Collectivo, Forging Commons, and The Circular.

These six arts businesses just wrapped up a business development program with the support of our program delivery partners, UMaine Foster Center for Innovation, the Small Business Administration, Heart of Biddeford, and others this spring. Now they are out in the community sharing their work as part of part two of the program. Part three will culminate with opportunities to connect with our creative entreprenuership work for all ages!

So come out and meet some of our inaugural IGNITE cohort, and the more than 100 creative artists, makers, performers, organizations, and businesses showcasing their work! Schedule details will be released soon, but we recommend planning to be there for the duration. Thanks to designer and illustrator Victoria Gordon for IGNITE’s new look and feel!

Get ready to enter new portals, meet new neighbors, hear new music, witness new movement pathways, learn about a new creative business in your community, bring a t-shirt with you to make your own Biddeford shirt… a rare opptunity be in community, and celebrate together, right on Main Street!

Engine is a wonderful place to work surrounded by wonderful people who have infused so much love and light into the downtown of Biddeford. I cannot imagine a bright future in the town without this wonderful organization.
