Calling Creative Youth!

Parents and Educators please share this with any young creative you know:
Engine is collaborating with the Heart of Biddeford, Apex, and local schools to lead young creators in the designing of a new Biddeford Winterfest Mascot. Group workshops on the design process and individual feedback sessions are available for interested participants and all children are encouraged to come up with their own mascot that represents the spirit and pride of Winter in Biddeford.

Here’s what’s happening.
Winterfest Mascot Design Contest Submission Forms are due Friday 1/28 at 11:59 PM.
Designs by youth under 18 will be considered.
3 Top Designs, selected by a jury of Biddeford creatives, will be selected and displayed for the public to vote on from 2/4-2/6 during Winterfest at Engine (163 Main Street in Biddeford) and online.
The winner will receive $250 and see their Mascot design used in future Winterfest promotional and marketing materials.

Engine is and has been a focal point of downtown Biddeford for many years for so many artists and creative spirits. It is a go-to for me: a retreat, a destination, a source for connection and ideas and community.

Engine is a wonderful place to work surrounded by wonderful people who have infused so much love and light into the downtown of Biddeford. I cannot imagine a bright future in the town without this wonderful organization.
