Light Up the Dark

A call for proposals for storefront installations

Engine announces a call for proposals for installations and performances for our large storefront windows at 163 Main as well as in the Marble Block storefront at 129 Main in downtown Biddeford, Maine. We intend to help light up the dark winter ahead to create a beacon of beauty and hope to lead us into a New Year. Due to the uptick in COVID, Engine’s gallery will be closed to the public until the pandemic is under control and we are able to reopen safely in 2021.

TO SUBMIT: To submit your proposal for consideration, please email sketches and/or 3-10 images embedded along with a description of the installation in a single PDF if possible.

Send to [email protected]. Proposals will be reviewed by Engine’s Exhibitions Committee.

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS is rolling but the first installation will be chosen no later than November 30 and will be on display through December.
