Learn about Engine with Maine Ad & Design

This Thursday September 29 from 6-9PM, join us for an event convened by the folks at Maine Ad & Design, an organization dedicated to celebrating, cultivating, and connecting Maine’s professional creative community. MADE is a great friend and sponsor of Engine’s nonprofit work in our community.

Our friends at Lorne Wine will be hosting their monthly Drinking with Strangers event while we give tours of our current exhibition, Tides Rise Us All, celebrating our Compass Project where kids build boats and boats build the kids. Some of our studio artists and makers might have their studio doors open. Come learn more about our mission to connect and inspire our community through art, design, and education, and then head to Lorne to mix and mingle with other creatives. Learn more and register here.

Engine is and has been a focal point of downtown Biddeford for many years for so many artists and creative spirits. It is a go-to for me: a retreat, a destination, a source for connection and ideas and community.
Laura Dunn

Engine is a wonderful place to work surrounded by wonderful people who have infused so much love and light into the downtown of Biddeford. I cannot imagine a bright future in the town without this wonderful organization.
